The House Behind (2017)

Who would have thought that the simple words of a thirteen-year-old would fire up the imagination for decades to come? The Diary of Anne Frank, now a classic of world literature, is first and foremost a testimony of a passage of age, the slow walk or sudden jolt from childhood to adolescence: from the innocent world of the child, where evil to the does not exist, to the dilacerated universe of a world war conflict.

The new wing of Fucecchio Museum will become Anne Frank's House. The audience will undertake a veritable journey from Amsterdam streets invaded by nazi tanks to enter, through the back door, into the warehouse, the office and the secret Annex where the Franks were hidden for two years.
